Banish Bingo Wings

Banish Bingo Wings

Bingo Wings, what a flipping nightmare. Where the name originates, we’re not exactly sure, yes they kind of flap like wings but what they have to do with bingo, we really don’t know.

Bingo Wings can affect all women whether they are bingo players or not, and actually, you’d think all of that dabbing would work those upper arm muscles and ensure that bingo players are actually the most unlikely suspects for bingo wings! You don’t have to be overweight to have this problem, as we get older skin loses its elasticity, making the annoying problem worse.

Luckily, we’ve come up with some of the best ways to banish the dreaded arm wobble! Follow our 4 simple steps and you’ll be well on your way to the loveliest arms in the land!

1. Sort Out That Skin
When giving out skin some love, we don’t tend to focus on the top of our arms, but it is really important to make sure that the skin in this area is well looked after. Scaly, blotchy skin is a no no, so get exfoliating to remove dead skin cells that can make the skin look dull. Retaining moisture in this area is particularly important during the winter months, so ensure that after every shower you don’t miss this vital area when moisturising.

2. Give those Wings a Workout!
To tone up those arms, you’ll need to work out – but that doesn’t have to mean a trip to the dreaded gym! If you’ve got dumbbells handy, use them, if not; two tinned food cans are fine too! Stand with your back straight, take a weight in each hand and keep your arms outstretched. Raise the weights to shoulder height and hold for 20 seconds. Bring the weights down to meet your waist.
This simple workout should be repeated 10 times at first. After you’ve become used to this, you should build up the amount of times you repeat the exercise and also increase the length of time that you hold the weights at shoulder height.
You can vary this exercise by curling the weights – this is a method of raising the weights to shoulder height then lowering immediately and repeating. In the same way, you should aim to increase frequency.

3. Swim!
Swimming is one of the best (and cheapest) ways to give upper arm definition. Swimming is not only a brilliant way to give you muscle definition, it is one of the best ways to get fit without hitting a gym. Take a relaxed approach and enjoy your swim – you’ll be making a difference without even realising it.

4. Eat Sensibly
Eating healthily will not only help if you need to lose a little weight but it will also give you the boost that you need to do the Wing Workout! By ensuring you get your daily dose of vitamins and minerals through eating fruit and vegetables, you’ll banish that sluggish feeling and you’ll feel much more active!

5. Quick Fix
Bingo Wings won’t fix themselves overnight, but if you’ve got a special occasion and you’re dying to wear that strapless dress, you can cheat a little bit. Use a bronzer to make arms appear slimmer. The way to do this is to brush a line of bronzer down the middle of the arm, to give your arm more definition. You can also use the bronzer to shade out your bingo wings. This rule applies to other areas of your body too – you can make legs appear slimmer by applying bronzer down the centre of each leg.

Bingo Wings are an annoyance but you should never let them get between you and that gorgeous dress. Make sure you do the Bingo Wings Workout just before you go out in the dress and you’ll be giving those muscles a boost, they’ll stay tight temporarily and you’ll look hot to trot!
